I want to add my personal recommendation for the Gene Douglas By Faith Ministries to local churches across our nation. After 40 years as an active local church pastor, I retired in 1998. Since that time I have served local churches as their interim pastor. One of those churches is the West McComb Baptist Church in McComb, Mississippi. This is the church from which Brother Gene left to enter the Revival/Evangelism ministry. His membership, as well as that of his family, is still in that church. He is dearly and deeply loved by the congregation that watched his ministry their for a period of time. I first met Gene when I went there and came to love and appreciate the ministry in which he is presently engaged. I have found he and his wife, and their son Chad, to be first rate in their love for our Lord and support of the Lord's local church. We had a wonderful wekend revival at Friendship Baptist Church. We saw God at work in our church in a great way. We were all challenged and encouraged to place Christ in the center of our lives and commit ourselves totally to His will and purpose for us. We saw church members recommit their lives to Christ, and we also rejoiced over God's saving work in the lives of two individuals.
