2021 Year End Review

Updated: Feb 2

We thank God for the opportunities to be used by Him for His glory in 2021 and for those who believed in us through their giving. Below is a list of some of the things I was able to do through GDBFM this past year, along with being able to feed over 2,000 people. Here are just some of the ways we were able to serve.

- Preached in 39 churches.

- Preached at three associational events(Lamar County Crusade, Pike County 4th of July Celebration & Tri-County Evangelism Conference).

- Spoke at three school events(Laurel Christian School K5-3rd

grade, Laurel Christian School 4th-6th grade, and West Jones

High School Football Team).

- Preached at three rehab centers(Mission at the Cross: 11

times, Love in Action; 3 times and Righteous Oaks: 1 time).

- Preached at the Star of Hope Homeless Shelter in Houston, TX.

- I was able to do disaster relief in TN & KY. GDBFM was able to

give away 55 totes, 45 tarps, 75 flashlights with batteries, dolls

& trucks for children and a few gift cards.

- I was able to do a fundraiser for Choices Clinic. They sold

tickets for $10 each and all of the proceeds went to Choices

which was $7,100.00. GDBFM donated everything for this

fundraiser.

I was not able to help with disaster relief when Hurricane Ida hit LA because Brenda, my wife, came down with Covid-19 and was in the hospital for two weeks. Her recovery took several weeks and I needed to be there to take care of her. I thank God for healing my wife. She is a vital part of this ministry. Thank you for the prayers offered up on her behalf. Please continue to pray for us as we share and show the love of Christ to others.

Love in Christ,

Bro. Gene & Brenda Douglas
