Gene Douglas By Faith Ministries is an evangelistic nonprofit based in Laurel, Mississippi, led by Bro. Gene Douglas. With over 40 years of ministry experience—including 27 years in pastoral ministry and more than 13 years in full-time evangelism—Bro. Douglas felt called in 2019 to return to full-time evangelism. He expanded his outreach beyond traditional church settings by launching GDBFM, focusing on feeding individuals in low-income communities and disaster-stricken areas to demonstrate Christ's love and share the Gospel.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. The finished work of Christ—His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death on the cross, and victorious resurrection on the third day—is the means by which we are reconciled to God. We believe in the promise of eternal life for those who put their trust in Christ as their Lord and Savior. Jesus is coming again to receive His followers and to establish His eternal kingdom.
Inerrancy of Scripture
We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. It is fully authoritative and serves as the final standard for all matters of faith and practice. The Scriptures are without error in all that they affirm, and they are the complete and sufficient revelation of God's will for our lives.
The Trinity
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, and He works in the lives of believers to convict, guide, empower, and equip us for godly living and ministry. The Holy Spirit indwells all believers and seals them for the day of redemption.
The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ, who is the eternal Son of God. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and accomplished the work of salvation through His sacrificial death and resurrection. Through His atoning sacrifice, all who repent and believe in Him are forgiven and given the gift of eternal life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, and He works in the lives of believers to convict, guide, empower, and equip us for godly living and ministry. The Holy Spirit indwells all believers and seals them for the day of redemption.
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to glorify God, to proclaim the gospel, to disciple believers, and to serve as the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the literal, physical return of Jesus Christ to earth. He will come again to judge the living and the dead, and to establish His eternal kingdom. Until that day, we are called to live in readiness, sharing the message of salvation and living in obedience to His Word.
